20" x 30" Carved, Laser Engraved and Epoxied Decorative Lake Wissota Wall Map

This highly detailed relief map is carved from grey elm hardwood from northern Wisconsin. The lake cavity is carved into the material, the relief lines are burned into the lakebed with a laser and the lake is filled in with clear blue resin. These are difficult and risky to produce but the result is well worth the effort. I only made three of these and each one is unique. The one pictured is what is offered for sale here.
